Install of the Month: El’s Landscape Inc.

Artificial Grass Creates an Oasis for La Quinta Homeowners

In the stifling heat of the Coachella Valley, keeping natural grass alive is no easy feat. One La Quinta couple was seeking a beautiful but low-maintenance landscaping solution that would allow them to have a vibrant lawn at every time of year. El’s Landscape took on the challenge, providing them with a drought-tolerant backyard that offered a balance of fun and functionality.

El’s Landscape recently installed 1,360 square feet of Versa artificial grass in a home in La Quinta, CA. Versa features a dual coloring of field green and lime green blade tones and has a pile height of 1.375 inches. With a 65-ounce face weight, it is ideal for moderate to heavy foot traffic and drains at a rate of more than 30 inches of water per hour per square yard. It also features tuft bind technology, so each grass blade is triple reinforced into the backing to provide an exceptionally strong resistance to pull force.

El’s Landscape was tasked with creating a drought-tolerant landscape design for their La Quinta clients. The homeowners, a young couple, were seeking something that looked ultra-realistic but would be durable enough to withstand their two dogs and any entertaining, which is why they decided on SGW’s Versa product. El’s Landscape showed them more than a dozen samples, and the homeowners found Versa to look the most like real grass.

Serving the entire Coachella Valley, El’s Landscape has found that many clients seek out artificial grass for its low-maintenance nature and superior aesthetic value. With many local homeowners using their properties as seasonal vacation homes, they need a desert landscape design that will look pristine year-round with little maintenance. Founded in 2010, El’s Landscape has spent the last decade transforming homes with their exceptional workmanship and customer service. They specialize in artificial grass installation as well as patio pavers and landscape design.

Artificial Grass Installation Makes Austin Home Perfect for Kids

Austin, TX – Central Texas is known for its beautiful, large oak tree canopies. These canopies provide a unique visual appeal and some much-needed shade in the summer to Austin residents. However, the shade provided by these large oaks also makes it virtually impossible to grow healthy, natural grass in local backyards. Because of this difficulty, as well as the desire for a more family-friendly solution, one Texas family called upon LawnPop to transform their backyard with artificial grass landscaping.

LawnPop recently installed 3,500 square feet of Synthetic Grass Warehouse’s Diamond Pro Spring in a home in Austin, Texas. Diamond Pro Spring features a dual coloring of field green and lime green and has a pile height of 1.875 inches. With a 75-ounce face weight, it is ideal for moderate to heavy foot traffic and drains at a rate of more than 30 inches of water per hour per square yard. This water drains directly back into an underground system, making it an eco-friendly landscaping solution that aids water conservation efforts in the state.

LawnPop’s client had several children and pets that they wanted to accommodate in their landscape design. Finding a solution that was beautiful, durable, and optimal for all members of the family meant that LawnPop chose SGW artificial grass to transform their Austin backyard. The homeowners’ kids spend most of their time going in and out of their swimming pool, tracking broken grass blades and dirt into the house on a daily basis. Synthetic grass landscaping was perfect for solving their issue, since the turf blades are reinforced with triple tuft bind technology. This means that there’s never any stray, wet grass blades being tracked through the house after a swimming session. This durability also means that their pups wouldn’t tear up the grass or dig holes in the yard. SGW’s turf was also perfect for around the pool, since the ultra-efficient drainage capability ensures that the surface will stay dry, safe, and slip-resistant for the kids. Being an active home full of kids, pets, and guests meant that these Austin homeowners needed a landscape solution that could handle it all while remaining beautiful and evergreen. With this in mind, LawnPop knew that there was no better option than Synthetic Grass Warehouse artificial turf.

Since its founding in 2011, LawnPop has become one of the most rapidly growing businesses in Texas. They have made the Austin Business Journal’s Fast 50 list for the past three years in a row, and they’ve won the Houzz Customer Service award six years running. The owner, Tanner Shepard, utilizes his background in landscape architecture, construction, and marketing to provide clients with a gorgeous landscape design that incorporates artificial grass in a way that best suits their needs. LawnPop currently serves the Austin, Dallas, San Antonio, and Houston areas, and they hope to expand their footprint all throughout Texas in the years to come.

Lush Artificial Grass Transforms South Florida Estate

Delray Beach, FL – The vibrant landscape of South Florida is one of its stand-out features, which is why many Delray Beach homeowners are turning to beautiful, lush artificial grass. Whether your home hosts parties, has kids running around, or is a private oasis for two, synthetic turf is perfect for any property. One local couple recently called Turf Concepts to transform their backyard into a pristine, evergreen paradise using artificial grass.

Turf Concepts recently installed 1,365 square feet of Synthetic Grass Warehouse’s Diamond Pro Spring in a home in Delray Beach, Florida. Diamond Pro Spring features a dual coloring of field green and lime green and has a pile height of 1.875 inches. With a 75-ounce face weight, it is ideal for moderate to heavy foot traffic and drains at a rate of more than 30 inches of rain per hour per square yard.

Turf Concepts’ client was seeking a private oasis where they would not be intruded upon by landscapers or noisy lawnmowers. Owner Glen Minnis has found this to be a trend in the area, with privacy being emphasized over everything else. The low-maintenance nature of turf also makes it extremely popular. Since many homeowners in the area split their time between multiple properties or travel frequently, clients like to know that they’ll be able to return to their South Florida home with the lawn looking just as pristine and evergreen as the day they left.

Turf Concepts has served the South Florida area for more than 20 years. Minnis first entered the synthetic turf installation industry after performing a small landscaping job for a local HOA. After encouragement from his wife and friends, he started Turf Concepts and has flourished in the industry since 1998. Turf Concepts prides itself on outstanding installation quality. The Turf Concepts team goes the extra mile in every one of their installations so that they still look pristine even 10 years later. “In 20 years, we’ve never been called back to fix anything,” says Minnis. “We do it right the first time. That’s our promise.” Their superior installation quality is how they’ve earned a two-month-long waitlist of clients and an extensive portfolio of luxury beachfront properties that only continues to grow each day.

Beautiful Synthetic Grass Complements New Denver Home

Denver, CO – Artificial grass can enhance the aesthetic value and the functionality of your property, making it ideal for kids, pets, and entertaining. One Denver family had to take all of these factors into consideration, so they decided to improve their new construction home with artificial turf for their front and back yard.

Frontier Turf recently installed 2,000 square feet of Synthetic Grass Warehouse’s Everglade Fescue in a home in Denver, Colorado. Everglade Fescue features a dual coloring of field green and olive green with brown thatch, and it has a pile height of 1.625 inches. With a 60-ounce face weight, it is ideal for moderate foot traffic and drains at a rate of approximately 30 inches of rain per hour per square yard.

Frontier Turf’s client was seeking a landscaping solution that catered to their kids, their pets, and their guests. Like many Colorado residents, the clients were searching for landscaping that could withstand the roughhousing of their little ones. The Front Range area is notorious for its hard-packed clay soil, which makes grass especially susceptible to easy damage from pets. With an artificial grass lawn from Frontier Turf, however, this family no longer needs to worry about durability or the healthy appearance of their landscaping. They now have a beautiful, evergreen space that is perfect for hosting parties or casual family fun.

Frontier Turf has served the Front Range area for the past five years. Although they specialize in artificial grass installation, they also offer full-service landscaping, including retaining walls, fire pits, and patios. “If you can dream it, we can create it,” says owner Alan Jeffs. Frontier Turf’s top priority is to offer the highest quality artificial turf and workmanship available in the Denver Metro area.

Phoenix, AZ – Maintaining lush landscaping in the desert is an arduous task, especially when you have such a large area to take care of. Turf Ribbons Elevate Beautiful Las Vegas Backyard

Las Vegas, NV – Nevada’s desert climate makes synthetic grass a go-to landscaping solution for homeowners and contractors throughout the state. In such a barren landscape, pops of vibrant green turf add a refreshing natural finish to any backyard project. One Vegas resident wanted to contrast concrete with turf ribbons in order to create a stunning lattice design that enhanced their new pool and transformed their residence into a desert oasis. Living Water Lawn & Garden stepped up to the challenge and completed the project to the highest standard.

Living Water Lawn & Garden recently installed 525 square feet of Synthetic Grass Warehouse’s Tacoma in a home in Las Vegas. Tacoma features a dual coloring of field green and olive green with brown thatch, and it has a pile height of 1.75 inches. With a 90-ounce face weight, it is ideal for moderate to heavy foot traffic and drains at a rate of approximately 30 inches of rain per hour per square yard.

Living Water’s client was seeking a backyard transformation with an eye-catching landscape design. Turf ribbons contrasted with hardscaping creates a unique lattice design that elevates any residential desert landscape. Because the client has small children, Living Water chose SGW’s Tacoma artificial grass product. Its durability allows for high foot traffic and makes it perfect for homes with little ones running around. They were also seeking a waterwise landscaping solution that would prove easy to maintain in Nevada’s dry climate. With minimal maintenance and no watering required to maintain the green color, SGW artificial grass was the obvious solution for their new outdoor living experience.

Living Water Lawn & Garden has been serving the Las Vegas area for more than 20 years. Install of the Month: EcoLawn

Synthetic Grass Installation Transforms Incredible Backyard

Santa Barbara, CA – In California’s dry, fire-prone environment, conserving water is a constant priority. Waterwise landscaping solutions have skyrocketed in popularity in the past few years thanks to their combination of environmental and financial benefits. One eco-conscious client in Santa Barbara sought out EcoLawn for their expansive artificial grass installation. Their impressive backyard needed to remain pristine and evergreen for the numerous fundraisers and parties they hosted while offering practical benefits for them and the environment.

EcoLawn recently installed 1,100 square feet of Synthetic Grass Warehouse’s Diamond Pro Fescue in a home in Santa Barbara, California. Diamond Pro Fescue features a dual coloring of field green and olive green with brown thatch, and it has a pile height of 1.875 inches. With a 75-ounce face weight, it is ideal for moderate to heavy foot traffic and drains at a rate of more than 30 inches of rain per hour per square yard.

EcoLawn’s client was seeking an equally gorgeous alternative to their already-immaculate natural grass lawn. As native Californians living in a fire-prone neighborhood, the clients wanted to do their part to conserve water. They spent substantial time and money maintaining a perfectly green natural lawn of large size, so the aesthetic appeal and low maintenance requirements of artificial grass were a perfect fit for them. EcoLawn suggested SGW’s Diamond Pro Fescue because it closely matched the appearance of their existing natural fescue while offering a lot of negative space. The wide, heavy blade and considerable space between each blade give Diamond Pro an ultra-realistic appearance unrivaled by other turf products. “The clients were drawn to the wide-blade format and the richness in color. They appreciated that it was USA-made, as well,” explains EcoLawn spokesperson Nick Hart.

EcoLawn was founded at the peak of the drought in 2014. Custom home builders by trade, the founders were looking for a change of pace and wondered what they could do to help California in this time of need. 100% of the water used in Santa Barbara is pumped in through other parts of the state, as the region has virtually no natural water sources of its own. “We felt that it was our duty to step in and be a part of the change,” says Hart. EcoLawn’s priorities don’t just lie in environmental consciousness; they also place a major emphasis on exceptional customer service. “We put customer service at the forefront of our business. We come in not only with a friendly face, but also a genuine interest in trying to help the customer reclaim their yard. We can turn over someone’s yard in just a couple of days and help them reclaim a space that they haven’t used in maybe 10 years. It’s just electric to see the smiles that we can bring to people’s faces.”

EcoLawn is Synthetic Grass Warehouse’s “Install of the Month” winner for November 2019.

Install of the Month: Natural Tech

Artificial Grass Transforms Backyard Into Putting Paradise

Artificial grass offers more than just money-saving practicality; it also offers homeowners versatile design possibilities that will transform any home into an oasis. One homeowner in Granite Bay turned to artificial grass because they were searching for a background landscaping solution that offered a relaxing ambiance. The homeowner, an avid golfer, wanted to relax in his yard at night and putt around on a professional-grade putting green. That’s why this client recently sought out Natural Tech for this outstanding backyard putting green installation.

Natural Tech recently installed 3,500 square feet of Sure Putt and Diamond Pro Fescue in a home in Granite Bay, CA. Sure Putt features a dual coloring of field green and forest green, and it has a pile height of 0.75 inches. With a 45-ounce face weight, it is ideal for residential or professional putting green installations. Diamond Pro Fescue, used for the fringe, has dual field green and olive green blade tones with brown thatch, and it has a pile height of 1.875 inches. With a 75-ounce face weight, it is ideal for moderate to heavy foot traffic.

Natural Tech accepted this project because they knew that it would pose an exciting challenge for them. The variation in elevation presented a particular challenge when it came to matching seams, but Natural Tech was able to achieve a flawless installation nonetheless. They used Sure Putt turf, in part, because it’s easy to work with and manipulate during installation. The experts at Natural Tech were able to pin the turf, stretch it into place, glue the panels together, and pull the pins to create a seamless appearance despite the hilly terrain.

Natural Tech is a full-service artificial grass installation service that was first founded by owner Rob Orlando. Orlando has more than 40 years of experience in the landscaping industry and has been contracting jobs since 1987. Natural Tech prides itself on its attention to detail and unrivaled installation quality. “We make sure that we do everything perfectly,” says Orlando. “We don’t take shortcuts on anything. We have extensive knowledge of landscaping, drainage, irrigation, plants, and more, so when we’re working on a project, we know everything about the landscape part of the job as well. We love a challenge, and we’re always striving to hone our skills and become more efficient.”

Install of the Month: Synthetic Grass ATX

Artificial Grass Installation Enhances Austin Pool Deck

Throughout Texas, artificial grass has become a popular option for expansive, pristine lawns and backyard putting greens. However, environmentally conscious and budget-friendly turf ribbons have recently seen a swift rise in popularity for their use in stunning landscape designs. From latticed driveway patterns to unique pathways and stand-out pool decks, turf ribbons are an easy and affordable way to elevate your outdoor space. That’s why one family in Austin recently choose Synthetic Grass ATX to install this eye-catching design for their backyard pool deck.

Synthetic Grass ATX recently installed 385 linear feet of TigerTurf Everglade Fescue in a home in Austin, Texas. Everglade Fescue features a dual coloring of field green and olive green with brown thatch, and it has a pile height of 1.625 inches. With a 60-ounce face weight, it is ideal for moderate foot traffic and drains at a rate of more than 30 inches of rain per hour per square yard.

Synthetic Grass ATX’s clients were new to the idea of artificial grass. They had seen a latticed design at a local public park, and it had sparked inspiration for their pool deck. They debated between gravel or turf for placement between the concrete pavers, but they ultimately decided on turf due to its cleanliness. With gravel, stones would be tracked into the pool regularly, and pieces would need to be fished out of the water or cleaned from the filter each day. Artificial grass provided a low-maintenance solution that added a vibrant pop of color to their backyard.

Synthetic Grass ATX is a full-service artificial grass installer that was first founded in Dallas in 2011. They recently opened a new location in Austin in December of 2017, and they hope to expand even further in the next few years. They take great pride in their customer service and the consistently positive feedback they receive from their clients. They boast an expansive team of some of the most experienced installers in the area, says spokesperson Madison Chapman, and they are proud to do everything in-house. “We believe that our professionalism, experience, and customer service are what set us apart and will help us thrive in our new Austin location.”

Install of the Month: LawnPop

Artificial Grass Installation Optimizes Austin Home for Summer

With dramatic weather patterns all year long and a drastic need for water conservation, no location is more in need of artificial grass installation than Texas. A beautiful appearance, low maintenance requirements, and impressive durability make synthetic grass an extremely popular landscaping solution in the area. One Austin home recently chose LawnPop to transform their backyard, using artificial turf to create the perfect poolside paradise.

LawnPop recently installed 3,000 square feet of TigerTurf Playground/Multipurpose in a home in Austin, Texas. Playground/Multipurpose features a dual coloring of field green and olive green and has a pile height of 1.375 inches. With a 55-ounce face weight, it is ideal for moderate to heavy foot traffic and drains at a rate of more than 440 inches of rain per hour per square yard. This water drains directly back into an underground water system, making it an eco-friendly landscaping solution that aids water conservation efforts in the state.

For this new construction home, LawnPop needed a product that balanced function and aesthetics. The emphasis was on choosing an artificial grass product that would perform well around the pool, which is why Playground/Multipurpose was the perfect solution. With an astonishing drain rate of 440 inches per hour per square yard, this product ensures that the homeowners won’t experience matted or damaged grass regardless of how much activity the pool sees. The ability to eliminate dirt, mud, and broken grass blades that normally get tracked into the house from the pool also made artificial grass an obvious choice. The clients entertain at their home often, throwing evening and weekend parties, so they needed a product that could withstand the heavy foot traffic with ease.

All Texas installers also need to take into account the state’s dramatic weather patterns. With temperatures regularly reaching 105 degrees, it’s extremely difficult to get natural grass to grow in the Austin area. Choosing Playground/Multipurpose allows the homeowners to conserve water and stay cool in the Texas heat. LawnPop chose turf with a shorter pile height and TigerTurf’s revolutionary TigerCool technology because they knew it would benefit the clients and help keep them cool all year.

Since its founding in 2011, LawnPop has become one of the most rapidly growing businesses in Texas. They made the Austin Business Journal’s Fast 50 list in 2018 and they’re quickly expanding into all of Texas and the southwest. The owner, Tanner Shepard, has a background in landscape architecture, so he regularly consults for design with clients. “We pride ourselves on our experience and our craftsmanship,” he explains. “We pride ourselves on not having to go back on a job. Our guys have been doing projects for a long time, so we know what it takes to do it right. We use a good product like SGW so we know that we can do the job once and we’ll be good to go.” LawnPop currently serves the Austin, Dallas, San Antonio, and Houston areas, and they hope to expand their footprint all throughout Texas in the years to come.

LawnPop is Synthetic Grass Warehouse’s “Install of the Month” winner for August 2019.
